The BJP government, through its clean governance, rectified the corrupt systems created by the Congress. PM Modi stated that with the use of technology, the BJP government removed nearly 11 crore fake names from government records. These were names that never existed but had been used to siphon off government funds. This figure is higher than the total population of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. Since coming to power in 2014, Modi had cleared the corruption and scams that had plagued the country.
