PM Modi Condemns Attack On Chief Justice Of India BR Gavai

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has strongly condemned the attack on Chief Justice of India, Justice BR Gavai, which occurred earlier today within the Supreme Court premises.

In a tweet posted on his official X account, the Prime Minister described the incident as ‘utterly condemnable’ and stated that there is no place for such reprehensible acts in Indian society.

PM Modi expressed his concern for Justice Gavai and affirmed that the attack has angered every Indian. He highlighted that such acts are completely unacceptable and undermine the values of justice and constitutional integrity.

The Prime Minister’s statement comes amid heightened attention to security within the judiciary and government institutions.

Praise for Calm and Composure

In his message, the Prime Minister appreciated the composure displayed by Chief Justice Gavai during the incident. He noted that the calm and measured response of the Chief Justice reflects his deep commitment to the principles of justice.

“I appreciated the calm displayed by Justice Gavai in the face of such a situation. It highlights his commitment to values of justice and strengthening the spirit of our Constitution,” the Prime Minister said in his tweet.
