Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a sharp attack on the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), and Congress during a public rally in Jamshedpur on Sunday. He labeled these parties as the “enemies” of Jharkhand.
Modi asserted, “There are three enemies of Jharkhand—JMM, RJD, and Congress. The sooner people realize this, the better it will be for them.” He claimed the RJD still harbors resentment against Jharkhand for its statehood.
He criticized Congress for neglecting Jharkhand’s Dalits, poor, and backward communities during its time in power. According to Modi, Congress’s greed and quest for power led to this neglect.

Moving on, Modi accused the JMM of exploiting Adivasi votes while aligning with groups that supposedly threaten the state’s land rights. He voiced concern over illegal immigration issues, especially in the Santhal and Kolhan regions. Modi claimed these issues endanger local families, with the JMM dismissing the problem.
The Prime Minister alleged that the JMM supports Bangladeshi and Rohingya immigrants for political gains. “JMM prioritizes political benefits over the welfare of Jharkhand’s people,” he stated.
He also addressed the recent controversy involving former Chief Minister Champai Soren, defending him against accusations. Modi criticized Congress, calling it the “most corrupt” party and the Gandhi family the “most corrupt family.”
Finally, Modi vowed to address corruption and investigate the deaths of 15 candidates in recruitment exams. He promised a thorough investigation if the BJP and NDA come to power in Jharkhand. The rally ended with enthusiastic support for Modi’s vision to revitalize Jharkhand.
