PM Modi Addresses Public Rally in Bihar’s Jamui

Ahead of the Lok Sabha elections 2024, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday addressed a public rally in Jamui, Bihar.

Elaborating on the prospects of both Bihar and India, PM Modi said, “The last ten years are a mere trailer. Our government is excessively focusing on enabling robust prospects of growth for Bihar, and all your aspirations are my vision. We all have to come together to take the country forward.”

Addressing a campaign rally, PM Modi said that both Congress and RJD hurt Bihar’s pride and insulted the state’s luminaries, including former CM and Bharat Ratna Karpoori Thakur.

PM Modi said, “Both the Congress and RJD insulted Bihar and Bihari pride at every opportunity. They insulted Karpoori Thakur. Just some time ago, our government conferred the country’s highest civilian honour, the Bharat Ratna. Even then, they scoffed at our decision.”

PM added that over the years, our aim has been to ensure the last-mile saturation of all developmental benefits.

He further said, “On one hand, when we intend ‘Bhrashtachar Hatao, the I.N.D.I alliance’s collective focus is Bhrashtachari Bachao.”

PM Modi contrasted the NDA’s focus on solar power and LED lights with the Opposition coalition’s desire to regress Bihar to the era of lanterns.

PM Modi said, “People will never forget the intentions behind RJD-Congress in opposing the Ram Mandir.”

Speaking on the gross deprivation faced by the people of Bihar, PM Modi said, “Over 5-6 generations of Bihar have suffered gross deprivation and underdevelopment under the I.N.D.I alliance.”

He said that over the last ten years, Bihar has seen improvements at all levels across arenas, and to continue the same, the people of Bihar must vote for us in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, keeping their prosperous future in mind.

He further added, “You must vote for NDA for a Viksit Bihar and a Viksit Bharat.”

Lamenting India’s Congress-led state of persistent underdevelopment, PM Modi said, “The post-independence state of underdevelopment and large-scale poverty of both Bihar and India was owing to the Congress-led misdeeds.”

PM further added, “India’s priority-oriented governance has led to its rise as the fifth-largest economy. This achievement also grants it the privilege to host G20 Summits and international meetings.”
