The Krishna Kala Foundation of Dr. Anu Sinha, present a spectacular dance drama, “Shiv Parvati Vivah Natika,” on August 4, 2024, in Delhi. This performance, showcasing the divine union of Lord Shiva and Parvati, aims to blend artistic excellence with religious and cultural significance.
The event will take place at the auditorium on Janpath in the heart of Delhi, timed to coincide with Hariyali Teej, a festival dedicated to the worship of Lord Shiva and Parvati. However, the performance is the result of extensive preparation by a team of selected and emerging dance artists under the guidance of Dr. Sinha at her institute in Noida Sector 14.

The dance drama will feature a series of elaborate scenes, beginning with Ganesh Vandana, followed by a musical rendition of Karpoor Gauram. Moreover, the narrative will unfold through key episodes such as the conflict between Daksha and Shiva over Sati, the dynamic Shiva Tandava, and Parvati’s birth.
Other highlights include scenes depicting Parvati’s penance, dialogues between Ram and Shiva, and the preparations for the divine marriage. The performance will also feature a range of dance sequences culminating in Parvati’s farewell, concluding with bhajans, aarti, and a stuti vandana.
Dr. Anu Sinha and co-director Suman have meticulously crafted this program to intertwine various elements of art, culture, religion, and faith, ensuring a captivating experience for the audience. The cast comprises notable artists from the National Capital Region, including Aman Pandey, Brijesh Kumari, Dr. Pooja Tripathi, Monica, Prabha Dubey, Rashmi Singh, Nidhi Tiwari, Neha, Anya, Priyanshi, Sneh, Santoshi, Komal, Anshika, Deepmala, Mukesh, Mudit, Aman, Sandeep, Himpi, Ashish, Adhya Pandey, Sunil Vadhanin, Sameer, and Praveen.
However, this grand presentation is anticipated to be a highlight of the cultural calendar, reflecting the rich tradition and devotion associated with the Hindu deities Shiva and Parvati.
