Nitish Kumar congratulated Samrat Choudhary after he took oath as the 24th Chief Minister of Bihar, expressing confidence that the state would witness faster development under his leadership.
With the formation of the new government, Bihar has entered a new political phase, with Choudhary becoming the first BJP leader to assume the Chief Minister’s office.
Alongside him, Vijay Kumar Chaudhary and Vijendra Prasad Yadav took oath as Deputy Chief Ministers.
In a message shared on the social media platform X, Nitish Kumar extended his best wishes, stating that he was confident Bihar would progress rapidly and emerge among the country’s most developed states.
The development follows Nitish Kumar’s resignation on April 14, bringing an end to a significant political chapter. After stepping down, he reflected on his tenure and the state’s progress in a detailed message to the public.
Nitish Kumar highlighted the NDA’s 2005 governance push, key gains in sectors like health and infrastructure, and the ‘7 Nishchay-3’ roadmap for growth. He thanked PM Narendra Modi for support, backed the new government, and said Bihar is entering a new phase of development.
