New Parliament Building Inauguration LIVE Updates: Cradle Of Empowerment, Says PM Modi On New Parliament Building

New Parliament building inauguration LIVE updates: Today’s ceremony to officially open India’s new Parliament building was preceded by an early morning havan and prayers from all faiths. The formal launching by PM Narendra Modi will come after this. The inauguration is anticipated to draw up to 25 political parties and dignitaries, including chief ministers and ministries.

PM Modi received a Sengol from Tamil Nadu Adheenams (leaders of Hindu monasteries) at his home on the eve of the major event. According to PM Modi, Sengol is significant because it served as a sacred symbol of the transfer of power in 1947 and served as a link between the illustrious traditions of pre-colonial India and the future of independent India.
