A national-level medical conference was held today at the AMA Convention Centre under the aegis of the Alumni Welfare Association of Moti Lal Nehru Medical College, Prayagraj. The event featured lectures from leading medical professionals on lung diseases, sleep-disordered breathing, and tuberculosis.
Dr. Anand Shrivastava from KGMU, Lucknow, delivered a lecture on chest X-ray manifestations of lung diseases. Prof. J.C. Suri from New Delhi spoke on advanced airway pressure therapy for sleep disorders and chronic respiratory failure.
Dr. A.K. Singh from Regency Hospital, Kanpur, addressed the management of pneumonia in daily practice. Dr. B.N. Gupta from Midland Hospital, Lucknow, discussed the challenges in managing extra-pulmonary tuberculosis.
The conference was inaugurated by Prof. S.K. Jain, former Principal of Moti Lal Nehru Medical College. Special guest Prof. A.K. Singh, former Vice-Chancellor of Atal Bihari State Medical University, also attended.
Dr. Jyoti Bhushan, President of the Alumni Welfare Association, welcomed the guests, while Secretary Dr. Anu Gupta expressed gratitude. Organizing Secretary Dr. Ashutosh Gupta thanked the speakers and delegates.
The program was conducted by Dr. Parul Saksena, Dr. Vinita Mishra, Dr. Ritu Jain, and Dr. Varsha Kumar. Several prominent doctors from the region attended the event.
