Delhi CM, Arvind Kejriwal in the Delhi assembly targeted PM Narendra Modi. In the budget session of Delhi Assembly Kejriwal condemned the PM on his relations with billionaire businessman Adani. While he claimed that the PM wants to be the richest person on the Planet.
He even expressed that, “If a Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) is formed, Adani will not sink, Modiji will sink. Narendra Modi did nothing for his family but did so much for his friend (Adani).”
Kejriwal attacked Modi on a very serious note in the Delhi assembly. He said that PM is a very selfish person who can “sideline Adani in 2 minutes” for his selfish motive. “Modiji is such a selfish person that if it was only a matter of friendship, he would have sidelined him (Adani) in two minutes,” Delhi CM expressed.
Taking a further dig at the PM he said “Adani is just a front, Modi’s money is invested in Adani. He is Modi’s manager and he gets 10-15%, the rest belongs to Modiji.” In addition to this he said, “Adani was not a friend of Narendra Modi but a fund manager. Adani is only a front; just the manager who manages all the money. The money is actually not Adani’s, it is Modi’s.”
He even gave Modi the credit for Adani getting the wind project in Sri Lank. He blamed Modi for putting pressure on Sri Lanka’s Prime Minister. AAP Leader said, “Adani also won the electricity contract in Bangladesh, but Modi ensured that he got it for himself.”
The AAP leader also accused Adani of securing the wind project in Sri Lanka by putting pressure on Rajapaksa during Modi’s visit to Sri Lanka. “Adani also won the electricity contract in Bangladesh, but Modi ensured that he got it for himself,” he added.
This happened after BJP blamed Kejriwal for giving “cover fire” to Congress. BJP spokesperson, Sambit Patra said Delhi CM “Appeared to be giving cover fire to the Congress party and their corrupt regime.”
This comment came after Kejriwal compare the BJP regime to Congress. Kejriwal had said that “The regime of the BJP is more disturbing than that of the Congress party.”
Coming back at the Delhi CM Patra told the media, “So far as Kejriwal’s statement about the prime minister on the floor of the House today is concerned, it was a sheer representation of his great deal of frustration.
“The frustration that his corrupt ministers are inside the jail and that brakes have been put on the wheels of corruption of the Delhi government by the prime minister and the law of this country,” he charged.
