BJP leader and Sarojini Nagar MLA Dr Rajeshwar Singh has expressed deep concern over the rising atrocities against Hindus in Bangladesh. He was moved by news reports about the situation in the country, including the arrest of two more ISKCON saints, the disappearance of another, and the demolition of Hindu temples.
Dr Rajeshwar Singh emphasized that the Hindu minority in Bangladesh is in dire need of support from India. He criticized Indian political parties for their silence on the issue, calling it a form of silent endorsement of the violence against Hindus.

He also condemned the failure of socialist leaders, who claim to be Yaduvanshi or Krishna Vanshi, to speak out in support of the detained Hindus and ISKCON saints.
“The Samajwadi Party, which once championed social justice, has now succumbed to vote-bank politics,” Dr. Singh said. He accused the party of ignoring the rights of Hindus and Krishna devotees in exchange for political gain. He also criticized Congress and other secular parties for sacrificing religious and cultural values for votes.
Dr Singh took to social media to voice his concerns. He called the Bangladesh government’s failure to protect its religious minorities a violation of democracy and justice. He urged the international community to demand accountability from Bangladesh and ensure the safety of its religious minorities.
“Religious minorities in Bangladesh must be allowed to live without fear and persecution,” Dr. Singh concluded.
