Maharshi Valmiki International Airport in Ayodhya Dham to Be Inaugurated on December 30: A Preview

Ayodhya airport’s next phase will feature a new terminal capable of handling 3,000 passengers during peak hours and six times the annual capacity, anticipating increased passenger traffic.

 

The new airport is equipped with various sustainable features, like rain-water harvesting, landscaping with fountains, and a solar power plant, to meet the five-star GRIHA (Green Rating for Integrated Habitat Assessment) ratings

 

The building showcases the architecture of the Ram temple on the outside while its interiors are adorned with local art, paintings, and murals that depict Lord Ram’s life.

The inauguration of the Maharishi Valmiki International Airport Ayodhyadham marks Ayodhya’s transformation into a major tourist and pilgrimage destination.

According to the PMO statement, the building encapsulates Modi’s vision to improve connectivity, develop modern infrastructure, and revamp civic facilities in Ayodhya while preserving the city’s rich history and heritage
