The upcoming Mahakumbh 2025 in Prayagraj is set to spotlight India’s rich cultural heritage with a showcase of exceptional handicrafts from 100 of the nation’s top artisans. This landmark initiative, spearheaded by the double-engine government of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, aims to elevate traditional arts and crafts to a global stage while attracting millions of devotees and art enthusiasts.

This event will not only celebrate craftsmanship but also provide a platform for artisans to connect with a global audience.”

– Jammu and Kashmir: Luxurious Pashmina shawls
– Uttar Pradesh: Terracotta from Gorakhpur, brassware from Moradabad, black clay utensils from Azamgarh, and Bhadohi carpets

– Madhya Pradesh: Elegant Chanderi sarees
– Punjab: Vibrant Phulkari embroidery
