Maha Kumbh Celebrates Republic Day With Patriotism And Spirituality

On the 76th Republic Day, the sacred grounds of the Prayagraj Maha Kumbh resonated with chants of patriotism and spirituality under the Yogi government’s leadership. Saints, sages, and devotees adorned their camps with the tricolor alongside saffron flags, symbolizing a harmonious union of devotion and national pride.

The national anthem echoed across the camps, and collective pledges to uphold India’s unity and integrity were taken by the participants. The sight of the tricolor fluttering beside Sanatan Dharma flags created a visually striking blend of nationalism and spiritual fervor.

The Dandi Swami Nagar became the focal point of Republic Day celebrations, where thousands of saints from the All India Dandi Swami Parishad, led by President Jagadguru Swami Maheshashram, gathered to mark the occasion.

Celebrating 25 years of their tradition of Republic Day observances at the Sangam, Swami Maheshashram hoisted the national flag and led the singing of the national anthem. He administered an oath to the Dandi Swamis to strengthen national unity and Sanatan Dharma.

Swami Maheshashram emphasized the need to counter divisive forces targeting Hindu society on caste lines and shared plans to send Dandi Swamis to every village, reinforcing the vision of a unified nation rooted in strong spiritual values.

Akhadas Join The Republic Day Celebrations

Across the Maha Kumbh, the celebrations echoed with the sacred chants of “Har-Har Gange” and “Har-Har Mahadev,” merging seamlessly with “Bharat Mata Ki Jai.” In the Akhada sector, the saffron and tricolor flags waved together, signifying the confluence of patriotism and spirituality.

At Shri Niranjani Akhada, the national flag hoist under the leadership of Akhil Bharatiya Akhada Parishad President Mahant Ravindra Puri. Saints and devotees united to sing the national anthem in a powerful display of national pride. Similarly, the female Naga ascetics of Shri Panch Dashnam Sanyasini Akhada celebrated by hoisting the tricolor in their camps.

Special Appeal For Mauni Amavasya Snan

In light of the upcoming Mauni Amavasya snan, Mahant Ravindra Puri issued an appeal to devotees. He encouraged pilgrims to take their holy dip at the nearest accessible Ganga ghats, emphasizing that the entire Maha Kumbh area holds equal spiritual merit for bathing.

The Prayagraj Maha Kumbh’s Republic Day celebrations beautifully showcased a union of devotion, unity, and patriotism, reflecting the spirit of an evolving nation rooted in its cultural and spiritual heritage.
