Maha Kumbh 2025: Water Police To Ensure Devotee Safety With 25 High-Tech Jet Skis

Ensuring the safety of millions of devotees expected at Maha Kumbh 2025 is a top priority for the Uttar Pradesh government. As part of a comprehensive security strategy, the Yogi Adityanath-led government is implementing cutting-edge measures across land, water, and air.

The Water Police will deploy 25 high-speed jet skis, marking a historic first for the Maha Kumbh.

These advanced jet skis, capable of speeds up to 70 kilometers per hour, will play a crucial role in responding swiftly to any emergencies, particularly during the large-scale bathing rituals at the Sangam.

Their rapid response capabilities will ensure that help is available at a moment’s notice, significantly enhancing water security and safety for all devotees.

This marks the first time that the Maha Kumbh will use such high-tech vessels, ushering in a new era of preparedness and proactive security measures.

The jet skis will patrol every inch of the Sangam, providing a visible and effective presence on the water, and ensuring the safety of bathers and pilgrims, including saints from around the world.

In accordance with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s directives, authorities have been working tirelessly to finalize all necessary arrangements.

The focus is on strengthening water police security to guarantee a safe environment for the millions expected at this once-in-a-lifetime event.

‘Introducing High-Tech Water Jet Skis To Improve Safety At Maha Kumbh’

Janardan Prasad Sahni, the Water Police in charge at Kila Police Station, highlighted the significance of this initiative.

He stated, “For the first time at the Maha Kumbh, we are introducing high-tech jet skis to improve safety measures for devotees. The fleet of 25 jet skis is set to arrive by December, and they will significantly enhance our ability to respond to any emergency.”

These jet skis, designed for quick deployment, can reach bathers in distress in just a few minutes, even over long distances.

The powerful engines propel the jet skis at impressive speeds, ensuring rapid access to the site of an emergency.

Each jet ski can carry three people at a time, enabling a fast rescue operation to save lives.

With their speed, efficiency, and ability to navigate the waters of the Sangam, these jet skis will be an invaluable asset in maintaining the safety of the devotees during the massive congregation at Maha Kumbh 2025.
