Maha Kumbh 2025: Unbreachable Security ‘Chakravyuh’ Encircles Prayagraj

As the highly anticipated Maha Kumbh 2025 approaches, authorities have implemented a comprehensive and robust security plan to safeguard the thousands of devotees expected to visit Prayagraj.

Under the direction of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, an impenetrable security ‘Chakravyuh’ has been established to ensure the safety and smooth conduct of the event.

Maha Kumbh 2025: Security With 102 Checkpoints

To bolster security, seven major routes leading to Prayagraj from neighbouring districts have been reinforced with 102 checkpoints. These strategically placed posts will screen both vehicles and individuals, ensuring thorough checks to maintain order and safety throughout the event.

In total, 1,026 security personnel have been deployed to oversee operations, including 71 inspectors, 234 sub-inspectors, and 645 constables. Additionally, 76 women constables, 113 Home Guards/PRD jawans, and three PAC (Provincial Armed Constabulary) sections will be stationed across key points to monitor and manage security.

Advanced Technology For Surveillance

In a bid to enhance security, authorities are also utilizing advanced technology. Five Vajra vehicles, 10 drones, and four anti-sabotage teams will conduct continuous surveillance to ensure a seamless security operation. These measures are designed to prevent any untoward incidents and provide a safe environment for the millions expected to participate in the religious festivities.

Comprehensive Measures For Safe Maha Kumbh

With these extensive precautions in place, the authorities aim to ensure that Maha Kumbh 2025 remains a safe and secure event for all participants. The meticulous planning and deployment of resources reflect the government’s commitment to providing a secure environment while allowing the religious gathering to proceed peacefully.
