Maha Kumbh 2025 with preparations for the Maha Sammelan are in full swing as 13 Akharas make their grand entry into Maha Kumbh city. On Sunday, Shri Panchdashnam Aawahan Akhara made a remarkable entrance into the sacred city.
The entry was greeted with overwhelming enthusiasm as devotees and the Maha Kumbh administration showered flowers at various points along the route.
Shri Panchdashnam Aawahan Akhara made its entry into Maha Kumbh Nagar Cantonment. The journey was led by Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Swami Arun Giri Ji.
The procession began from the local ashram of the Akhara in the Madouka area via the Triveni pontoon bridge. Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Ji highlighted that this Akhara has participated in 122 Maha Kumbhs and 123 Kumbhs in Prayagraj.
The procession was a sight to behold 51 Shri Mahants, and numerous Naga sanyasis participating. The chariots, horses, and camels, along with the divine presence of the Akhara’s deity, Lord Gajanan, formed the centre of attraction.
Following the deity’s chariot, the procession continued with the Akhara’s Panch Parmeshwar Ramta Panch and the chariot of Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Swami Arun Giri Ji. The entire entry journey showcased the deep faith and devotion of the Akhara’s saints and followers.
During the grand procession, the Akhara’s saints echoed the powerful message of “Plant trees, save the world.” Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Swami Arun Giri Ji emphasized the importance of environmental protection.
He urged devotees and followers to participate in the “Vriksha Lagao, Srishti Bachao Maha Abhiyan” (Plant Trees, Save the Earth Campaign).
After covering a distance of 11 kilometres, the Akhara’s cantonment entry journey culminated at its camp in Sector 20. The procession was warmly welcomed by the local people and Maha Kumbh administration, who showered flowers to honour the saints. The collective enthusiasm from the devotees and administration highlighted the spirit of unity and reverence surrounding the Maha Kumbh.
