The Uttar Pradesh government is likely to enhance the visual appeal of Maha Kumbh Mela 2025 with the installation of 30 stunning fiber-resin artworks.
These artworks, along with 30 intricate sculptures, will be strategically placed at key intersections throughout the Mela grounds, playing a pivotal role in transforming the event into a grand visual spectacle.
Under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the large-scale beautification projects aim to elevate the aesthetic experience for all visitors.
The Uttar Pradesh Museum Directorate, in collaboration with the Culture Department, is spearheading the creation of these artworks to add a divine and cultural touch to the event.
The organizers will showcase these 60 artifacts, portraying gods, goddesses, and mythological figures, at both the fair and the Uttar Pradesh Museum Directorate.
The diverse sculptures will represent deities like Yamuna, Ganga, Saraswati, Kartikeya, and Shiva, among others.
The statues range in size, from a 10 x 6-inch depiction of Maa Ganga to a grand 90 x 50-inch sculpture of Singhanad Avalokiteshwar.
Artists will craft these detailed pieces using fiber and silicone to ensure their lifelike appearance and durability.
The creation and installation of the sculptures will take place in two phases.
By January 5, the officials will install 30 sculptures at the fairgrounds, while they will hand over the remaining 30 to the Uttar Pradesh Museum Directorate by January 10.
This artistic initiative will likely contribute significantly to the grandeur of Maha Kumbh 2025, offering visitors not only a spiritual experience but also a feast for the eyes.
