Kiran Rai, a resident of Chandigarh Panchkula and daughter-in-law of Buxar, made her mark in the Taj Mrs. Purvanchal Season-2 beauty contest held in Gorakhpur. Among 50 participants, Kiran secured a spot in the top 3, earning the title of second runner-up and Mrs. Best Smile.
Kiran’s achievement is a testament to her determination and passion. Growing up in a small town, she never had the opportunity to pursue her dream of walking the ramp. However, she didn’t let marriage and motherhood hold her back. Balancing family responsibilities and a prestigious job in the Haryana Education Department, Kiran pursued her dream.
“I want to tell all married women and youth that confidence, passion, and patience are key to achieving one’s goals,” Kiran said. “Don’t lock your dreams in a box; every woman with talent deserves a platform to shine.”

“Kiran’s achievement is a proud moment for Buxar and Panchkula,” said Om Prakash Rai. “She’s an inspiration to women everywhere, proving that marriage and motherhood don’t limit one’s potential.”
Kiran aims to create platforms for women in small towns to pursue their dreams, empowering them to chase their passions.
