Sachkhand Nanak Dham in Batala hosted the historic Jyoti Prakash Diwas Samagam in the presence of Sant Trilochan Darshan Das Ji Maharaj, bringing together thousands of devotees in an atmosphere of devotion, joy and patriotism.
Held on August 15, the event carried added significance as it coincided with India’s 80th Independence Day, creating a unique blend of spiritual devotion and national pride.
Devotees gathered at Batala Darbar from the early hours to participate in the celebrations and seek the blessings of Sant Trilochan Darshan Das Ji Maharaj.
The gathering attracted followers from Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir, while devotees from Canada, the UK and the US attended in large numbers.
The occasion commemorates the spiritual awakening and divine illumination in the life of the revered Satguru Darshan Das Ji Maharaj.
During the main session, Sant Trilochan Darshan Das Ji Maharaj urged the congregation to embrace naam simran, selfless service and brotherhood. He emphasised that true spiritual light should remove ignorance and ego from within and kindle the flame of love in the human heart.
The expansive gathering reflected a strong sense of patriotism, with the Independence Day celebrations adding a national dimension to the spiritual occasion.
The event conveyed a message of harmony, humanity and service while bringing together people from different regions and countries.
Given the large turnout, the Darbar management and local administration made extensive arrangements for security, traffic management, parking and medical assistance to ensure the smooth conduct of the programme.
Several prominent personalities, including VHP Central Organising Secretary Milind Parande, attended the samagam and sought blessings from Sant Trilochan Darshan Das Ji Maharaj.
The event highlighted spiritual devotion, selfless service, national unity and harmony.
