Jharkhand Governor and Health Minister stuck in traffic jam due to security lapse in Dhanbad

There was a lapse in the security of Jharkhand Governor CP Radhakrishnan and Health Minister Banna Gupta in Dhanbad. Vice President Jagdish Dhankhar, Jharkhand Governor CP Radhakrishnan and Health Minister Banna Gupta were mainly present at the convocation ceremony at Dhanbad IIT ISM.

The Vice President’s departure caused a significant backlog, resulting in a 10-minute delay for Governor C.P. Radhakrishnan and Health Minister Banna Gupta. The security personnel accompanying the Governor took charge, encircling the vehicle, while district police worked tirelessly to clear the congestion, eventually allowing the convoy to proceed.

The incident revealed a lack of coordination among security officials, as a considerable number of vehicles had congested the route designated for the dignitaries’ convoy. Despite the presence of security personnel, no preventive measures were taken to regulate the flow of traffic, causing visible frustration for the Governor and Health Minister. The incident prompts questions about the overall coordination and readiness of the security arrangements for the event.
