Jamaat-e-Islami Hind President Expresses Condolences On Death Of Ismail Haniyeh, Calls For India’s Diplomatic Action

New Delhi: Syed Sadatullah Husaini, President of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind (JIH), has condemned the martyrdom of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh. Husaini described the killing as an act of “fanatical terrorism by Israel.” He criticized Israel for killing thousands of civilians and subjecting Gaza to brutal bombings and massacres. Husaini noted that Haniyeh was targeted during a diplomatic visit to a third country and labeled this act as a result of Netanyahu’s “terror regime.”

Husaini expressed solidarity with the Palestinian people, stating that Muslims and righteous individuals worldwide share their grief. He emphasized that the history of Palestinian sacrifice and martyrdom serves as an inspiration. He asserted that Haniyeh’s martyrdom will strengthen the Palestinian freedom movement and aid in the fight for their rights.

Husaini urged the Government of India to condemn this act and take diplomatic measures against Israel’s actions in Gaza. He prayed for the elevation of Ismail Haniyeh and all martyrs, for patience for their families, and for justice for the oppressed.
