IndiGo Flight Makes Emergency Landing In Jaipur After Bomb Threat

An IndiGo Airlines flight carrying 183 passengers made an emergency landing at Jaipur International Airport on Tuesday evening after receiving a bomb threat. The plane, traveling from Kolkata to Jaipur, landed safely and is currently under investigation.

Pilot’s Quick Response

According to officials, the pilot was informed about the bomb threat shortly before the scheduled landing. He promptly contacted air traffic control and safely landed the flight at 5:14 pm in the Tango Taxi Area, away from the runway. The flight had initially taken off from Kolkata at 2:58 pm.

Ongoing Investigation

After landing, CISF personnel cordoned off the flight and started an investigation, keeping the plane 100 meters away. The 183 passengers onboard will be evacuated once the probe is complete.
