Indresh Kumar, RSS National Executive member and Chief Patron of Muslim Rashtriya Manch bestowed a 40-foot Chadar to the delegation on the 812th Urs of Hazrat Khwaja Moinuddin Hasan Chishti (R.A.) on Tuesday. In this gesture, he prayed for the unity, integrity, harmony, and amity of the nation, emphasizing the need to enhance moral values among its citizens.
Shahid Saeed, national executive member, and national media in charge of Muslim Rashtriya Manch, conveyed Indresh Kumar’s message that India is a land of pilgrimages, festivals, and fairs, where Ram and Khwaja coexist. All festivals, he highlighted, contribute to the welfare of the less fortunate and foster brotherhood. Each celebration teaches us to reject bigotry, malice, hatred, riots, or war, emphasizing a collective desire for peace, harmony, and brotherhood.
The 40-foot Chadar handed over by Indresh Kumar will be offered at Ajmer Dargah Sharif on January 13 by a 51-member team led by the Muslim Rashtriya Manch delegation. Key participants in this initiative include Mohammad Afzal, national convenor of MRM, Haji Mohammad Sabreen, Delhi state convenor, Professor Imran Chaudhary, co-convenor, Shalini Ali, women’s cell president, Abu Bakr Naqvi, former Rajasthan Waqf Board chairman, and other distinguished members.
Indresh Kumar, addressing the gathering, hailed the upcoming enthronement of Ram Lala in the Shri Ram Temple in Ayodhya on January 22 as a historic and globally welcomed event. He announced that Muslim Rashtriya Manch workers from over 50 districts, including Jammu and Kashmir, would visit Ayodhya to witness this momentous occasion after the temple’s consecration.
Praying for a fear-free, terror-free, riot-free, hunger-free, untouchability-free, poverty-free, and unemployment-free India, Indresh Kumar expressed concern over declining moral values in the country. He asserted that the government can curb crimes but instilling fear about them requires societal cooperation. Emphasizing religious tolerance, he strongly condemned Love Jihad, urging respect for all religions to eliminate fundamentalism.
Indresh Kumar stressed the importance of inculcating values in children to curb atrocities against daughters and mothers. He advocated mandatory education for girls and emphasized the need to view all women with the same respect as mothers, daughters, or sisters. Concluding, he asserted that nurturing societal values is crucial to counter the rise in criminal tendencies stemming from changing relationships.
