‘India Is Grateful’: PM Modi Meets Air Warriors After Operation Sindoor Success

Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Adampur Air Force Station in Punjab and met the Air Warriors and soldiers involved in Operation Sindoor.

His visit came soon after the operation’s success and reflected high troop morale and India’s firm resolve against terrorism.

Celebrating The Air Warriors’ Courage

As chants of ‘Bharat Mata ki Jai’ and ‘Vande Mataram’ resonated through the airbase, PM Modi expressed his admiration for the courage and determination of the Indian Armed Forces.

In a post on X, the Prime Minister described the experience of meeting the brave personnel as deeply special, recognising their role in protecting the nation.

“Earlier this morning, I went to AFS Adampur and met our brave air warriors and soldiers. It was a very special experience to be with those who epitomise courage, determination, and fearlessness. India is eternally grateful to our armed forces for everything they do for our nation,” PM Modi shared.

India launched Operation Sindoor on May 7 in response to the Pahalgam terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir.

The attack had resulted in the deaths of 26 innocent tourists.

The operation targeted several terror sites in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (PoK).

It eliminated over 100 terrorists and inflicted major damage on Pakistan’s military infrastructure.

The strikes were calibrated to minimise civilian casualties, with the focus firmly on targeting terrorists.

Air Marshal AK Bharti’s Briefing On Operation Sindoor

At the airbase, PM Modi was briefed by Air Force personnel, including Air Marshal AK Bharti.

Air Marshal AK Bharti clarified that Operation Sindoor aimed solely to target terrorists.

He stressed that there was no intent to engage with the Pakistani military or civilians.

He highlighted that the operation proved India’s military precision and indigenous capabilities.

It reinforced the strength of the nation’s advanced counter-terror systems.

“Our fight is with the terrorists, not with the Pakistan Military or Pakistan civilians,” Air Marshal Bharti stated during a press briefing.

He also underlined the Indian Armed Forces’ ability to counter any emerging threats, showcasing the success of Operation Sindoor.

While addressing the nation, PM Modi declared that India would treat terror sponsors and masterminds as one and the same.

He referred to the ‘new normal’ set by ‘Operation Sindoor’, which now forms India’s policy against terrorism.

“Every terror organisation now knows the consequences of attacking our sisters and mothers,” PM Modi stated, stressing that India’s armed forces were on constant alert.

Operation Sindoor has set a new benchmark in India’s approach to terrorism, reinforcing the country’s policy of pre-emptive strikes against terror networks.

With the armed forces operating with full freedom, India’s resolve to tackle terrorism remains unwavering.

The success of Operation Sindoor serves as a reminder of India’s growing capabilities and the strategic shift in its national security doctrine.
