On the 10th anniversary of his first swearing-in as Prime Minister, Narendra Modi returned to Gujarat for a two-day visit.
He declared that India had broken free from ‘decades of shackles’ since 2014 and is now advancing confidently across all sectors.
PM Modi held a massive rally in Dahod after a roadshow in Vadodara. He paid tribute to martyr Colonel Sophia’s family and received a grand welcome in Dahod.
Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw greeted him on stage. They gifted him a statue of tribal freedom fighter Birsa Munda and a commemorative photo frame of Operation Sindoor.
The Prime Minister described Operation Sindoor as proof of India’s fearless military resolve. He laid the foundation stone and inaugurated development projects worth ₹24,000 crore.
These included a new Railway Production Unit in Dahod under the ‘Made in Dahod’ initiative.
The ₹20,000 crore project aims to boost jobs and turn the region into an industrial hub.
PM Modi reminded the crowd that he first took oath as Prime Minister ten years ago. He thanked 140 crore Indians for their continued trust and support.
“We are pulling the Tricolour out of despair and into the light of faith,” he said.
The Prime Minister attacked political opponents and recalled the recent terror attack in Pahalgam.
“The terrorists didn’t just attack our soldiers. They challenged 140 crore Indians,” PM Modi said.
Referring to Operation Sindoor, he added, “We located nine terror camps on May 6 and destroyed them in just 22 minutes. That’s what India’s resolve looks like today.”
PM Modi said Operation Sindoor was not just a military mission but a reflection of national emotions.
The Prime Minister concluded with a strong message: “Those who mastermind terror can’t imagine what it means to confront Modi.”
