Protest continues against anti-social elements in IIT BHU

VARANASI.  Panic gripped IIT-BHU campus after three  anti social elements forcibly took out the cloths of a female student and made her video, on late Wednesday night.

It is reported that a student was moving around with her friend inside the Banaras Hindu University (BHU) campus on late Wednesday night, where some anti social forcibly stopped them and took the victim friend away from there at a distance, after which  they  allegedly started misbehaving with the girl.

Later they terrorized the poor girl and removed her cloths and made a video. It is alleged that after assaulting the student, her mobile was also snatched.

This news spread like wild fire in the campus  and thousands of students lodged a massive protest in the campus demanding justice for the victim. The students said that strictest action should be taken against the accused youth. The mob of students gathered at Rajputana hostel with banners and posters on the campus demanding  the safety of girl students.

Students have demanded strict action against the accused youth. Students have demanded that outside vehicles should be banned on the campus at night. Apart from this, CCTV cameras should be installed in the entire campus. Also, strict and immediate action should be taken on any incident.

Receiving information police officials along with  along with heavy contingent rushed to the spot  and started investigation. Cops are also keeping close vigil to avoid any untoward incident.

Police have also come into action due to the protest by the students. Strictness has been increased after the molestation incident in BHU IIT. In the instructions issued, it is written that all the gates of the campus will remain closed from 10 pm to 5 am.
