Two friends were allegedly assaulted by a club owner and two bouncers for filming a video inside the clubhouse, police reported on Monday. The incident occurred at Big Shot Bar in Sector 29, where Rishabh, one of the victims, was recording his friend Amardeep on his tablet. Club owner Kalu Yadav reportedly asked Rishabh to stop filming and then proceeded to physically assault him. The situation escalated further when Amardeep attempted to intervene and was also subjected to violence. The club owner and the two bouncers allegedly threatened to harm the duo.
During the altercation, Rishabh’s tablet was lost, and afterwards, the two friends managed to escape and seek medical treatment at a nearby hospital. The victims had been at the club since Sunday night and had stayed overnight.
Upon receiving the information, a police team arrived at the hospital to record Rishabh’s statement. Based on the complaint, an FIR was registered against Kalu Yadav and the two bouncers under Sections 323 (causing hurt), 506 (criminal intimidation), and 34 (common intention) of the Indian Penal Code.
A senior police officer confirmed that the matter is under investigation, and the accused individuals will be apprehended soon. The authorities are working to gather evidence and take appropriate action in response to the incident.
