Gujarat CM Meets PM Modi To Discuss State’s Industrial & Social Development

Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi to discuss strategies for accelerating the state’s industrial expansion and social sector development.

Sharing details on X, CM Patel wrote, “The meeting with the world’s most popular leader, India’s successful Prime Minister, the respected Shri @NarendraModi, in New Delhi was filled with energy.”

Patel said the Prime Minister offered ‘invaluable suggestions’ to strengthen both industry and social welfare initiatives in Gujarat, reinforcing the government’s commitment to inclusive growth.

Lauding PM Modi’s leadership, CM Patel emphasised the importance of the PM’s ‘saturation approach’ in welfare programmes.

“Discussed various dimensions of Gujarat’s all-round development with him. Received his invaluable suggestions for the development of industry and the social sector in the state,” CM Patel added.

Meeting with BJP Chief JP Nadda

During his New Delhi visit, CM Patel also met Bharatiya Janata Party National President and Union Minister JP Nadda. The discussions focused on key areas, including fertiliser management and strengthening the health sector in Gujarat.

Patel described the meeting as a ‘courtesy call’ where he received valuable advice on enhancing state-level initiatives in these critical sectors.

Taking to X, he posted, “In New Delhi, I had a courtesy meeting with the National President of the Bharatiya Janata Party and Union Minister Shri @JPNadda ji. Discussed various topics, including fertilisers and health, with him and received guidance.”

Earlier the same day, CM Patel attended the ‘Chandrak Alankaran Samaroh’ at the Gujarat Police Academy in Karai, where he presented medals to 118 police officers and personnel awarded the President’s Medal for dedicated and outstanding service.

Patel commended the entire police force for contributing to making Gujarat a ‘role model of peace, safety, and security’ and acknowledged the families of the awardees for their support in the officers’ demanding duties.

The meetings and ceremonies reflect CM Patel’s focus on balancing Gujarat’s rapid industrial growth with strong social infrastructure and public welfare measures.

With guidance from PM Modi and the BJP leadership, the state aims to continue its trajectory as a leading model of economic progress and social harmony in India.
