Ganesh Chaturthi 2026: Amit Shah Performs Aarti At Devendra Fadnavis’ Mumbai Residence

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis shared video footage showing Union Home Minister Amit Shah and his family performing aarti and taking darshan of a decorated Ganesh idol at the Chief Minister’s official residence in Mumbai.

The video opens with the devotional line, ‘Tu Sukhkarta Tu Dukhaharta Vighna Vinashak Moraya’, before showing Shah, his wife and others participating in the ritual.

The ceremony took place amid traditional decorations, flower garlands and a festive setup for Ganesh Chaturthi.

Photographers captured the proceedings as the family members joined the devotional ritual.

Fadnavis posted the footage on September 14, 2026, with captions in English, Marathi and Hindi. The post tagged Amit Shah’s official account and highlighted his participation in the festival.
