Union Home Minister Amit Shah visited Mumbai’s iconic Lalbaugcha Raja Ganesh mandap and performed puja and darshan of the massive idol during Ganesh Chaturthi.

Shah offered prayers at the revered shrine and bowed before the idol during his visit. Images showed him walking through the elaborately decorated pandal while carrying a child.
The popular site remained surrounded by devotees, volunteers and photographers as Shah participated in the religious rituals.
Lalbaugcha Raja attracts millions of devotees every year and remains one of Maharashtra’s most prominent symbols of faith during Ganesh Chaturthi.
Shah’s visit highlighted the festival’s cultural and religious significance across Maharashtra. He prayed for happiness, prosperity and well-being across the country.
The annual Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations draw large gatherings across Mumbai, with Lalbaugcha Raja remaining among the city’s most visited Ganesh mandals.
Shah’s participation added a prominent public dimension to the festivities as devotees gathered to seek blessings from Lord Ganesha.
