During the dinner, leaders from both India and abroad were captured in photographs at the ‘India Mandap’ in Delhi. The menu for the special dinner included mentions of traditional Indian monsoon-season dishes, emphasizing the rich tapestry of India’s cuisine.
Prime Minister Modi and President Draupadi Murmu exchanged greetings with American President Joe Biden, and even Bihar and Jharkhand Chief Ministers extended their greetings to him. Among Modi’s opponents, Nitish Kumar was seen offering a respectful greeting before shaking hands with the Prime Minister.
The unique dinner showcased how India, with its rich culture and heritage, is closely connected to the concept of ‘flavor.’ The menu stated, “The blend of traditions, rituals, and climate makes India diverse, and flavor binds us.”
Leaders of neighboring countries also participated in the dinner, where a variety of delicious vegetarian dishes were served. Bangladesh’s Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina enjoyed the dinner, and she was seen in conversation with Smriti Irani.
Heads of state and other global leaders experienced a unique dining experience that showcased India’s rich culture and heritage. They dined on silver and gold-plated utensils, offering a glimpse into India’s opulent traditions.
