Five Killed In Tragic Collision On Greater Noida Expressway

A fatal accident occurred after collision of car with truck on the Greater Noida Expressway near Sector 146 left five people dead on Sunday. The crash involved a speeding car that collided with a stationary truck parked on the roadside.

The victims—all residents of Kashiram Colony, Ghodi Bachhedi in Noida—were traveling home via Pari Chowk when the car struck the truck from behind. The impact was severe, leaving the car mangled beyond recognition.

The deceased were identified as Aman (27), son of Devi Singh; Devi Singh (60), son of Ramshah; Rajkumari (50), wife of Devi Singh; and Vimlesh (40), wife of Gyani Singh. Aman, the car’s driver, died instantly, while the others succumbed to their injuries en route to the hospital.

Eyewitnesses described the collision on Greater Noida Expressway as devastating. Local residents rushed to assist and alerted police, who coordinated efforts to retrieve the bodies from the wreckage. The extent of the damage made recovery efforts challenging.

The accident also caused major traffic disruption. Police cleared the scene, restoring traffic flow after seizing both the car and the truck. The Knowledge Park Police have taken the bodies for post-mortem examination.

The victims’ families have been informed, and grief now grips their community. Police have registered a case and launched an investigation into the incident.
