Sarojininagar MLA Dr. Rajeshwar Singh Hits Back At Akhilesh Yadav’s Remarks On CM Yogi

Sarojininagar MLA Dr. Rajeshwar Singh today strongly responded to personal comments made by Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Akhilesh Yadav against Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Dr. Singh took to social media to defend the Chief Minister, calling Yogi Adityanath a revered figure and criticizing the personal nature of Yadav’s remarks.

Dr. Singh Defends Yogi Adityanath on Social Media

Dr. Rajeshwar Singh, in a tweet on X.com, responded directly to Akhilesh Yadav’s comments, saying, “SP chief Akhilesh Yadav… Saints and sanyasis are the best in Hinduism, so you must be aware of these beliefs. Yogi Adityanath is everyone’s beloved Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, the Gorakshapeethadhiswar, the bright image of Satya Sanatan, and the best sanyasi who gives respect to gentlemen!”

Dr. Singh emphasized that Yogi Adityanath is a figure of respect and reverence for all, especially within the Hindu community, given his spiritual leadership at the Gorakhnath Temple and his role as Chief Minister.

Criticism of Personal Attacks in Politics

Dr. Singh also criticized the personal nature of Akhilesh Yadav’s remarks, stating that such comments have no place in politics. He added, “Personal comments are not right in politics. Akhilesh ji… it is not right to mention the respect you gave to your elders, but it is also not right to make personal allegations on a universally accepted saint!”

He went on to say, “Revered Yogi Adityanath has a great personality, great deeds, great religious responsibility. He is great, and he is reverb.” Dr. Singh’s statement came in direct response to Yadav’s comments made earlier in the day.

Akhilesh Yadav’s Controversial Statement

The controversy erupted on Saturday when Akhilesh Yadav, addressing reporters, questioned Yogi Adityanath’s qualifications. Yadav remarked, “What kind of Yogi is one who does not consider anyone greater than himself? Yogi’s qualifications will have to be investigated.” The comment drew sharp criticism from BJP leaders and supporters of Yogi Adityanath, who saw it as an unwarranted personal attack on the Chief Minister’s character and spiritual standing.

Political Rhetoric Escalates

This exchange highlights the increasingly heated political rhetoric in Uttar Pradesh, especially as the state heads into future elections. Both Yogi Adityanath and Akhilesh Yadav remain key figures in the state’s political landscape, and their rivalry continues to shape public discourse.

Dr. Rajeshwar Singh’s strong defense of CM Yogi underscores the deep loyalty within the ruling BJP to the Chief Minister’s leadership, as well as the broader tension between the ruling party and the opposition.
