In a historic first, 17 female cadets passed out from the National Defence Academy (NDA) in Khadakwasla, Pune, on Friday.
The NDA is India’s premier tri-services training institute.
A total of 1341 cadets took part in the parade. Of these, 336 cadets belonged to the passing out course.
The parade held special significance as it marked the graduation of the first-ever batch of female cadets at NDA.
These pioneering cadets will now join their respective pre-commissioning academies. Their graduation marks a transformative chapter in the NDA’s history.
