Empowering Youth Is The Most Powerful Thing A Nation Can Do: PM Narendra Modi

On Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised the contributions of India’s youth, describing them as symbols of dynamism, innovation, and determination.

PM Modi further added that their unmatched commitment has played a crucial role in the country’s progress.

Taking to the social media platform, the Prime Minister reflected on the last 11 years, noting that they brought a clear shift in how the government now designs policies and programs to empower the youth.

PM Modi cited key initiatives such as StartUp India, Skill India, Digital India, and the National Education Policy 2020, all anchored in the belief that empowering young people is central to building a strong nation.

“India’s youth have made a mark globally. Our Yuva Shakti is associated with dynamism, innovation and determination. Our youth have driven India’s growth with unmatched energy and conviction. In the last 11 years, we have witnessed remarkable instances of youngsters who have done the unthinkable across various sectors including StartUps, science, sports, community service, culture and more,” Prime Minister Modi posted on X.

The post further added, “The last 11 years have also seen a decisive shift in policy and programmes aimed at youth empowerment. Government initiatives like StartUp India, Skill India, Digital India and the National Education Policy 2020 are rooted in the firm belief that empowering youth is the most powerful thing a nation can do. I’m confident that our youth will keep strengthening the efforts to build a Viksit Bharat.”

E-Book Highlights 11 Years Of PM Modi Government’s Achievements

To mark 11 years of the PM Modi-led government, the Centre released an e-book detailing the administration’s achievements since 2014.

According to the book, “The government has dedicated these 11 years to bringing about development that is inclusive, progressive, and sustainable. Under Prime Minister Modi, it has been steadfast in its commitment to creating equity and opportunity for all citizens.”

The publication credited PM Modi with bringing ‘Vikasvaad’, the politics of development, to the heart of national discourse and decision-making.

It further highlighted, “In the last 11 years, there has been a paradigm shift in public service delivery and the implementation of government schemes using the JAM Trinity – Jan Dhan, Aadhaar, and Mobile.”

The book also underlined how a wide-reaching and integrated development strategy helped uplift marginalised communities, fostering self-reliance and ambition among them.

Touching on environmental and cultural commitments, the book stated, “Under PM Modi, India has championed environmental protection globally, emerging as a leader of the movement. Like the environment, under PM Modi’s leadership, India actively preserves and promotes its rich cultural heritage. The United Nations declared June 21st as International Yoga Day, an acknowledgement of the global recognition of Indian heritage.”

The mention of Operation SINDOOR’s success describes it as an example of a new India acting with resolve, speed, and sovereignty.

Prime Minister Modi first assumed office on 26 May 2014 and is currently serving his third consecutive term as Prime Minister.
