On the auspicious occasion of Mahanavami, a vibrant ‘Dandiya Night’ was organised at the Multi Activity Centre in Ashiana, Lucknow.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from locals, with Sarojininagar MLA Dr Rajeshwar Singh joining the celebrations and sharing the joy of the festive atmosphere.
Addressing the gathering, Dr Singh described Dandiya as a festival that reflects both devotion and power.
“Dandiya is that festival of devotion and strength, in which the vibrancy of tradition and the collective consciousness of society shine together!” he posted on X.
A large number of youngsters attended the program. Speaking directly to them, Dr Singh urged the youth to channel their energy into environmental protection, eliminating casteism, and fighting corruption.
He encouraged them to become agents of social change, stressing that walking on the path of truth would shape a stronger and more united society.
Several dignitaries, including former MLA Om Prakash Singh, Raghav Chhetri, Harsh Verma, Utkarsh Yaduvanshi, Vikas, Om Singh, Divyanshi Chaudhary, Kalpana Yadav, and Shiva Soni, attended the event.
Guests enjoyed the lively beats of Dandiya while embracing the social messages of unity and positivity shared during the evening.
The ‘Dandiya Night’ proved to be more than just a cultural celebration. It became a platform for social awareness and positive change, symbolising unity, energy, and enthusiasm.
Dr Rajeshwar Singh hailed the event as a reflection of the cultural spirit that also inspires people to work collectively for a better future.
