Dr Rajeshwar Singh Hails UP CM For Beoming Longest Consecutive Serving CM Of State

Sarojni Nagar MLA Dr Rajeshwar Singh on Monday hailed UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for becoming the longest consecutively serving Chief Minister of the state, Surpassing Former CM Govind Ballabh Pant.

CM Yogi Adityanath completed 8 years and 132 days in the office, while Govind Ballabh Pant served for 8 years and 127 days as Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh.

In a social media post on X, Singh said, “The illustrious Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, revered @myogiadityanath Ji, has set a new and historic record by serving as Chief Minister for the longest continuous period. This achievement surpasses the remarkable tenure of Pt Govind Ballabh Pant Ji, which lasted 8 years and 127 days. Yogi Ji has dedicated his 8 years and 132 days in office to service, good governance, and public welfare.”

Transforming States’ Image

Crediting Yogi for the transformation of UP’s reputation from a crime-ridden state to a new identity of Good governance and security, he said, “During this period, Uttar Pradesh has shed its image of crime and chaos, establishing a new identity of good governance and security.”

Lauding economic and policy reform, the BJP MLA asserted, “Without increasing any additional taxes, the state’s economy has grown from ₹12.88 lakh crore to ₹27.51 lakh crore in 8 years. Today, Uttar Pradesh’s contribution to the country’s GDP has risen to 9.2%, per capita income has increased from ₹52,671 to ₹1,27,695, and the state budget now exceeds ₹8.08 lakh crore.”

“Through GIS, Uttar Pradesh has received investment proposals worth over ₹45 lakh crore. In the past 8 years, more than 8.5 lakh youths, including 2.16 lakh police recruitments, have been provided government jobs without discrimination. In the realm of law and order, 30,694 criminals were arrested in 14,973 encounters, and 238 notorious criminals were neutralised, figures that stand as vibrant symbols of good governance,” he further added.

Moreover, Dr Rajeshwar Singh congratulated the Chief Minister, saying, “On this historic achievement, heartfelt congratulations and respectful felicitations to revered Yogi Ji on behalf of the 25 crore people of Uttar Pradesh. This milestone is not merely a measure of time, but the story of an era of transformation, which has led Uttar Pradesh from fear to trust and from chaos to opportunity.”
