Adani Total Gas Reports 16% Volume Growth In Q1FY26

Adani Total Gas Ltd announced a 16% year-on-year volume growth for Q1FY26, driven by a 21% increase in CNG sales and a 6% rise in PNG volumes.

The company continues to strengthen its City Gas Distribution (CGD) network across all 34 Geographical Areas, with over 14,000 km of steel pipelines and 650 CNG stations. Its consumer base is close to 1 million, while EV charging points have crossed 3,800.

Revenue from operations rose by 21% due to higher sales, particularly in the CNG segment.

Despite a 31% increase in gas costs caused by lower APM allocation and reliance on higher-priced HPHT gas, ATGL maintained a stable EBITDA of ₹301 crore. The company adopted a calibrated pricing strategy to sustain volume growth while balancing costs.

During the quarter, ATGL commissioned its first Compressed Biogas (CBG) station in Haryana, marking its entry into green energy production. It also strengthened its partnership with Jio-bp to offer each other’s fuel options at select outlets, facilitating faster deployment of DODO and CODO CNG stations.

ATGL’s e-mobility arm expanded its EV charging network, complementing India’s transition to sustainable transport.

Suresh P Manglani, ED & CEO, emphasised the company’s commitment to delivering reliable low-carbon solutions across industrial, residential and transport sectors.

Operational Highlights

Total Sales Volume: 267 MMSCM (↑16% YoY)
CNG Sales: 185 MMSCM (↑21% YoY)
PNG Sales: 82 MMSCM (↑6% YoY)

The company continues to digitalise operations, optimise gas sourcing portfolios and maintain 100% supply reliability for both PNG and CNG consumers.

ATGL’s ESG rating by CRISIL improved to Crisil ESG 61, moving the company into the STRONG category from ADEQUATE. This upgrade reflects its focus on sustainable practices and environmental stewardship.

ATGL plans to accelerate the expansion of its CGD infrastructure while scaling LNG, e-mobility and biomass ventures.

With robust operational strategies and continued infrastructure investments, the company aims to strengthen its position as a key player in India’s clean energy transition.
