Dr Dinesh Sharma Presents Government’s Stand On Operation Sindoor In Rajya Sabha

Speaking in the Rajya Sabha, Dr Dinesh Sharma, BJP Member of Parliament, presented the government’s view on Operation Sindoor, calling it not just a military operation but a bold representation of India’s strength, strategic clarity, and growing self-reliance.

He stated that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Operation Sindoor sent a clear message — India is no longer a nation that remains silent in the face of provocation.

Dr Sharma emphasised that Operation Sindoor was not merely an act of retaliation against Pakistan. It served as a moment when the world witnessed the true spirit of Atmanirbhar Bharat — an India capable of protecting its interests without relying on foreign powers.

“Operation Sindoor was not just about teaching Pakistan a lesson,” Dr Sharma said. “It was a moment where a self-reliant and strong India stood tall before the world under Modi ji’s leadership.”

Reflecting the current government’s foreign and defence policy, Dr Sharma declared, “This is the new India. We do not provoke others, but those who provoke us are not spared.”

The statement captured the essence of India’s evolving identity — peaceful yet unafraid to act decisively when required.

Strengthening Defence and National Confidence

Dr Sharma pointed to India’s advancements in indigenous defence technologies as a sign of true progress.

He linked the success of Operation Sindoor to the larger Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative, which seeks to make India independent in every critical sector, including defence manufacturing.

He praised the armed forces for their precision and readiness, noting that such operations reflect not only military might but the strong political will behind them.

Concluding his remarks, Dr Sharma underlined that Operation Sindoor demonstrated India’s resolve to the international community.

“Today, the world no longer sees India as hesitant or reactive, but as prepared, principled, and powerful,” he said.

Members of the Rajya Sabha welcomed his address, recognising it as a strong reaffirmation of the government’s vision for a sovereign and secure India that acts with purpose and pride on the world stage.
