Double-Engine Government Turning Rajasthan Into Opportunity Hub, Says PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday asserted that the double-engine government is reshaping Rajasthan into a dynamic centre of opportunity.

Addressing a large gathering at Kayad Vishram Sthali in Ajmer, alongside Governor Haribhau Bagde and Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, he emphasised governance rooted in sensitivity rather than authority.

He outlined the vision of achieving a Developed India through a Developed Rajasthan.

Over the past two years, he said, the state has advanced on a fast-track growth trajectory.

He noted that projects worth nearly Rs 17,000 crore, inaugurated or launched during the event, would strengthen roads, electricity networks, water supply, healthcare and education while generating employment for youth.

PM Modi observed that until recently, Rajasthan attracted negative attention over corruption and recruitment paper leaks.

He stated that examination irregularities have now been curbed and stringent action has been taken against offenders.

Prime Minister Modi congratulated 21,863 young beneficiaries who received appointment letters.

Infrastructure And Welfare Push

The Prime Minister described the HPV vaccination drive as a decisive step towards women’s empowerment.

He stressed that maternal health strengthens families. He recalled that before 2014, the absence of sanitation facilities caused hardship for women and forced many girls to leave school.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said the government addressed these concerns in mission mode.

He highlighted welfare initiatives, including the Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana, which grants Rs 5,000 to pregnant women for nutrition, and the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, aimed at eliminating smoke-filled kitchens.

PM Modi underlined that improved road, rail and air connectivity stimulates tourism, hospitality and local enterprise.

He said enhanced infrastructure also attracts investment. He accused previous administrations of delaying irrigation schemes such as the Eastern Rajasthan Canal Project.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated that the current government has expedited implementation.

He added that the Parvati-Kalisindh-Chambal Link and Yamuna-Rajasthan Link projects will significantly benefit farmers.

Calling Rajasthan sun-blessed, he said rooftop solar installations under the Free Electricity Scheme are generating prosperity.

Over 1.25 lakh families have enrolled, with Rs 78,000 assistance transferred directly to beneficiaries.

PM Modi paid tribute to Tirtharaj Pushkar, Savitri Mata, Veer Tejaji Maharaj, Lord Devnarayan and Varuna avatar Lord Jhulelal, and recalled Rajasthan’s historic valour in Haifa.

Chief Minister Sharma highlighted water reforms, Jal Jeevan Mission achievements, improved national rankings and a decline in crime rates.
