Diwali celebration at BJP Headquarters
A Diwali meet-and-greet event took place at the BJP headquarters in New Delhi on Friday, where Prime Minister Narendra Modi engaged with prominent journalists, including Upendrra Rai, Chairman, MD, and Editor-in-Chief of Bharat Express. The event was attended by BJP’s National President JP Nadda and other senior leaders.
During the Diwali celebration, Upendrra Rai highlighted PM Modi’s call to develop a model for journalists’ health, stressing the importance of regular medical check-ups, especially for those with 40 years of experience. He expressed appreciation for the Prime Minister’s concern for journalists’ safety.
Rai noted that PM Modi addressed diverse topics such as Deepfake, ‘Vocal for Local,’ and cleanliness during the event. The Prime Minister commended the media’s role in the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and urged them to continue raising awareness on a larger scale.
In his address at the BJP headquarters, PM Modi touched upon various issues, including the misuse of artificial intelligence. He emphasized the need for media to educate the public about the challenges posed by technology misuse. PM Modi connected Diwali lamps, Deep, and Deepfake, urging the media to enlighten people about this crisis.
PM Modi declared Chhath Puja, a significant festival of faith, as a ‘National Festival’ and underscored the commitment to building a developed India. He discussed ‘Vocal for Local’ and expressed gratitude for the widespread support during the COVID-19 pandemic, instilling confidence in the nation’s continuous progress.
