In a pioneering move, the Mahakumbh 2025 is set to offer a unique digital experience, making the historic event more accessible and memorable for people across the globe. This initiative, part of the Digital Mahakumbh vision led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, marks the first-ever introduction of AI Generative Chatbot technology at the event.
In a breakthrough, devotees can now access a personalized Mahakumbh certificate with their photo simply by scanning a QR code. This digital token of the event can be saved or printed, allowing participants worldwide to keep a lasting memento of their spiritual journey. Additionally, the AI Chatbot offers real-time information on every major event and program at the Mahakumbh, helping users stay informed and engaged throughout the event.
The chatbot also provides comprehensive details about essential facilities, such as food stalls, lockers, washrooms, and changing rooms, ensuring a smooth and convenient experience for attendees.
In line with the Digital Mahakumbh vision, the initiative has been designed to cater to a global audience. The AI-powered chatbot is available through https://chatbot.kumbh.up.gov.in or by scanning a QR code, making it easily accessible to people around the world. Furthermore, the chatbot offers support in 11 languages, including Hindi, English, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Gujarati, Marathi, Punjabi, Bengali, and Urdu, ensuring that devotees from diverse linguistic backgrounds can easily interact and access information.
The chatbot’s unique feature allows users to ask questions either by typing or speaking, and it responds in the preferred language of the user. This level of personalization enhances the overall experience, allowing for a deeper connection with the event.
Under the guidance of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the AI chatbot has been actively promoted across popular social media platforms like X (formerly Twitter), WhatsApp, Facebook, and Instagram. This extensive digital presence has made the chatbot a trending tool for connecting people to the Mahakumbh experience, further expanding the event’s reach globally.
The success of the Digital Mahakumbh initiative is the result of a strategic collaboration between various stakeholders, including the Tourism Department, Mahakumbh Nagar Police, and the event organizers. Aparajita Singh, the Regional Tourism Officer of Prayagraj, stated that preparations for Mahakumbh 2025 are being undertaken at a rapid pace to ensure that the event is not only spiritually enriching but also technologically advanced.
“This initiative is a monumental step in making the Mahakumbh a truly global event, where technology and tradition come together to enhance the experience for devotees from around the world,” Singh said.
This year’s Mahakumbh is setting a new benchmark in digital transformation, with the introduction of the AI Generative Chatbot. The chatbot is not just an informational tool but also serves as a bridge to a more personalized and engaging Mahakumbh experience. By virtually guiding users to Mahakumbh Nagar and offering crucial information about the event’s facilities, it ensures a seamless experience for devotees, whether they are attending in person or participating virtually.
The Digital Mahakumbh is poised to be a lasting symbol of how modern technology can enhance and expand the spiritual journey of millions of people, making the Mahakumbh accessible to a global audience like never before.
As Mahakumbh 2025 approaches, the introduction of AI Generative Chatbot technology is a game-changer, offering a personalized, engaging, and accessible experience for millions of devotees worldwide. By blending spirituality with cutting-edge technology, the Digital Mahakumbh promises to be an unforgettable milestone in the history of the event.
