Delhi winter vacation: Schools to remain closed from Jan 1-6

According to a Directorate of Education circular released on Wednesday, the winter break for Delhi schools will now last six days instead of fifteen, starting on January 1, 2024.

The dates of the academic session 2023–24’s winter break were set for January 1–January 15.

“However, in order to ensure that our students are not adversely affected due to the poor air quality in Delhi, a portion of winter vacation was observed from November 9 to November 18,” the notice stated.

The remaining days of the winter break for the 2023–2024 school year are planned to be observed from January 1–January 6, 2024.
