Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is likely for a symbolic gesture of gratitude this Saturday, just one day after the Supreme Court granted him conditional bail in the high-profile liquor policy case.
At noon, Kejriwal will make his way to the historic Hanuman Temple located in Connaught Place, accompanied by key leaders and supporters from the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).
In a heartfelt message shared on social media platform X, Kejriwal announced his visit, stating, “This afternoon at 12 o’clock, I will go to the Hanuman Temple in Connaught Place to thank God and seek His blessings.”
Following his temple visit, Kejriwal is to proceed to the AAP headquarters, where he is likely to address party members.
The gathering has sparked speculation that he might outline strategic plans for the upcoming Haryana elections and other future initiatives.
Following a Supreme Court decision, authorities released Kejriwal from Tihar Jail on Friday. A fervent crowd of AAP supporters, who braved heavy rain, welcomed him.
Amidst chants of ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ and ‘Vande Mataram,’ the Delhi CM asserted that his resolve remains unshaken by his recent incarceration.
He emphasized his renewed vigor and commitment to public service.
Kejriwal criticized the central government, declaring that incarceration would not diminish his resolve.
“I have been fighting the anti-India forces, and today I vow to step up this fight with greater intensity than before,” he proclaimed.
Despite his release, the Supreme Court has imposed several restrictions on Kejriwal.
He is prohibited from visiting the Secretariat, signing official documents without the Lieutenant Governor’s consent, commenting publicly on the case, interacting with witnesses, or accessing related official files.
While the Delhi Chief Minister remains determined to serve his constituents, his legal struggles are far from over.
