Exit polls indicate a competitive race in Rajasthan, with varying predictions on the winner. While three polls favor BJP, two show Congress leading, highlighting the state’s tradition of not reelecting an incumbent government for nearly three decades.
The electoral battle features key figures like Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, former CM Vasundhara Raje, Sachin Pilot, Govind Singh Dotasra, and Hanuman Beniwal among 1,862 candidates. Gehlot’s stronghold, Sardarpura, remains crucial, contested by BJP’s Mahendra Singh Rathore. Former CM Vasundhara Raje, initially perceived as sidelined, emerges actively ahead of vote counting, contesting from Jhalrapatan in Jhalawar since 2003.
