The 2-minute-20-second footage, now viral on social media, has sparked widespread outrage. The incident revolves around allegations of a significant financial scandal related to a leaked exam paper. Bishop Maurice Edgar Dan, representing the Diocese of Lucknow, alleges that the school is embroiled in a multi-crore scam linked to the leak of the February 11 UPPSC Review Officer-Assistant Review Officer (RO-ARO) exam paper. He claims that the former principal, Parul Solomon, was implicated in this scandal, leading to her removal.
The controversy erupted when the exam paper was reportedly leaked before the exam’s commencement at Bishop Johnson Girls School in Prayagraj. The UP Special Task Force (STF) subsequently arrested ten individuals, including Vineet Jaswant, the exam center administrator. Videos showing the alleged mistreatment of Ms. Solomon have circulated widely on social media, depicting a tumultuous scene where school officials forcibly remove her from her office.

Following Ms. Solomon’s removal, Shirley Massey was appointed as the new principal. However, Ms. Solomon reportedly locked herself in the principal’s office upon Ms. Massey’s arrival. She was subsequently removed from her position amid claims and counterclaims, including allegations of mistreatment and a case filed by Ms. Solomon alleging sexual abuse.
Authorities are investigating the matter, with Bishop Dan providing additional videos to support their case. Despite conflicting accounts, video evidence and CCTV footage have been pivotal in understanding the events leading to Ms. Solomon’s removal and subsequent legal actions.
