Concerning “fake identity cards” in the Youth Congress election, Kerala BJP lodges a protest

The Kerala Director General of Police (DGP) and the Election Commission have received complaints from the Bharatiya Janata Party, which claims that forged identity cards were used during the state’s Youth Congress election. On behalf of BJP state president K Surendran, the complaints were turned over by BJP district president VV Rajesh.

Youth Congress volunteers have made fictitious identity cards for their organizational elections, according to VV Rajesh. Opposition leader VD Satheeshan and KC Venugopal were aware of it when it happened.

The BJP said that the Congress was aiming to practice this across the nation as a trial run before the Lok Sabha elections. According to him, they possess fictitious voter identity cards that are produced by the Center. “How can an identity card be made fake? It’s comparable to creating fake money. It is antagonistic to the country, its citizens, and Indian democracy. It is a national offense,” he declared.

Shafi Parambil, a former president of the Youth Congress and Congress MLA, refuted the allegations, nevertheless. “Surendran is trying to find a means of maintaining the appearance of a vibrant political scene. In addition to talking about treason and terrorism, he is an accused party in the Hawala and electoral fraud cases. He is giving Congress advice. What the Youth Congress created is for the election of organizations. That is sincere,” he remarked.
