CM Yogi Hails Sanatan Dharma As Majestic; Emphasizes Unity At Maha Kumbh

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, attending the All-India Avadhoot Bhes Barah Panth-Yogi Mahasabha program in Prayagraj, underscored the significance of Sanatan Dharma, describing it as a majestic banyan tree. “Sanatan Dharma is like a vast and majestic banyan tree. It should never be compared to mere shrubs or bushes,” he said, emphasizing its deep-rooted importance in Indian culture.

Speaking at the Maha Kumbh Nagar on January 25, CM Yogi hailed the event as the world’s largest gathering symbolizing unity. “The Maha Kumbh is an opportunity to deliver a unified message to the world. As Prime Minister Narendra Modi often says, the message of Mahakumbh is that unity ensures the nation remains unbroken,” he declared.

The CM highlighted the vital role of national security, asserting, “If India is safe, we are all safe. If India faces a crisis, it will impact Sanatan Dharma, and no sect or tradition within the country will feel secure. To prevent such a situation, spreading the message of unity is essential.”

Praise For Devotees And Mahakumbh’s Scale

CM Yogi expressed gratitude for the immense devotion shown by crores of attendees at the Maha Kumbh, especially during the holy days of Paush Purnima and Makar Sankranti. He noted the global impact of these celebrations.

Sanatan Dharma: A Legacy Of Goodwill

The CM highlighted the global influence of Sanatan Dharma, which he said spread not t   hrough force but goodwill. “In Southeast Asia and beyond, wherever Sanatan Dharma reached, it inspired people through its values and ideals. Many nations proudly embraced the traditions of Lord Ram, Lord Krishna, and Lord Buddha,” he said.

He emphasized that Sanatan Dharma’s strength lies in its inclusivity. “Here, no one asks about caste, sect, or religion. The only thing that matters is faith. This is the strength of Sanatan Dharma and our revered saints,” he remarked.

Building A Stronger Nation Through Unity

The CM urged devotees to resist divisive forces and maintain societal unity. “We must not let anyone’s conspiracy disturb the unity of our society,” he stated, calling on everyone to refrain from negative comments and divisive actions.

Highlighting the upcoming milestones of 2025’s grand Mahakumbh and the completion of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, CM Yogi said, “By spreading awareness and uniting society, we can build a stronger nation. As our society grows stronger, no power in the world will be able to challenge the unity and integrity of our nation.”

Concluding his address, CM Yogi further honored several revered saints, including Juna Peethadhishwar Avadheshanand Giri Maharaj, Paramatmanand Maharaj, and Nirmalanand Maharaj. He presented them with shawls and idols of Gorakhnath Ji as tokens of respect.

The Chief Minister’s stirring words and gestures during the Maha Kumbh celebration further underscored the enduring values of Sanatan Dharma, unity, and the strength of India’s spiritual heritage.
