The declaration commended India for hosting the Outreach/BRICS Plus Dialogue and said the country’s chairship had given ‘new impetus’ to international cooperation and solidarity.
The declaration further reaffirmed the grouping’s commitment to mutual respect, sovereign equality, solidarity, openness, inclusiveness, collaboration and consensus.

Egypt is among the 11 BRICS members, alongside Brazil, China, Ethiopia, India, Indonesia, Iran, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa and the United Arab Emirates.
BRICS includes partner countries such as Belarus, Cuba, Bolivia, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Nigeria, Thailand, Uganda, Uzbekistan and Vietnam.
