PM Modi shared details of the meeting alongside a photograph showing both leaders shaking hands against the BRICS India backdrop and national flags. He recalled his 2018 visit to Uganda and highlighted the Kampala Principles.

The discussions further reflected India’s focus on strengthening engagement with African countries.

Cooperation in healthcare and agriculture can support development and improve livelihoods, while digital technologies can expand access to new opportunities.

Capacity-building initiatives remain another important area of collaboration between the two countries.

The leaders sought to advance India-Uganda relations through stronger institutional and development partnerships.

The engagement carries significance for the wider Global South. India and Uganda aim to deepen cooperation while amplifying the collective influence and priorities of developing nations.
